TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Matthew 17:20

… Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Jesus never commended little faith. He always rebuked it. Jesus never said if you have faith as small as a mustard seed. He said if you have faith as a mustard seed. Why? Because He was highlighting the nature of a mustard seed and it’s potential to grow into something great.

Mustard seeds are only about 1 to 2 millimeters (0.039 to 0.079 in) in diameter. That’s about the size of the tip of the point of a pencil. As tiny as that seed is, it can grow into a bush that is up to 6 meters (20 feet) high with a 6 to 9 meter (20 to 30 feet) spread.

Regardless of its potential for growth, that seed won’t do anything if you just sit there and think about it’s potential. You have to do something with it. Even when your situation seems impossible, put your faith in action.

Speak the Word and move in the direction of what you declare. Don’t tell your God how big your problem is. Tell your problem how big your God is! Stick to the Word, and you’ll come out with a testimony!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

My faith is an unstoppable force. It does not bend to circumstances; it forces circumstances to bend to it. “Impossible” is not a part of my vocabulary, and I will triumph over every obstacle, in Jesus’ Name!
