TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 10:4
And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Have you ever wondered what you can do to get God’s attention? Especially those times you feel he is nowhere near you. Truth is, he already has given us his full attention. He lives on the inside of us.
He has already provided the best there is. That is already settled. However, today’s scripture throws a spanner in the works a little. It seems as if there is a way to make all heaven stand still and take notice when this particular thing happens. Cornelius gave a memorial before the Lord and made things very interesting.
The word memorial in the original Greek writing means “the memory of a person or thing that is preserved, a remembrance”. It’s like an obstruction that rose all the way up to heaven. The man prayed and mixed his prayer with sacrificial giving that it became something all heaven took notice of.
You can pray and give (not one without the other) to an extent that it becomes an obstruction in heaven that God cannot see past. That’s having God’s full attention plus some more! Lace your faith filled prayers with sacrificial giving. It creates a memory of you that Heaven cannot ignore!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I align my faith fi lled prayers with my giving today. My life shall arise like a memorial that cannot be ignored. I am blessed to be permanently marked in heaven in Jesus Name!
