Gratitude is one of your greatest resources. When you are thankful, it is proof that Christ lives in you. When you give thanks to God, you are presenting a pleasing and acceptable offering to Him. And when you thank others, you are sowing seeds of gratitude that produce a harvest of benefits in your own life.
It has been scientifically proven that gratitude has many benefits. Gratitude improves your physical health, self-esteem, and relationships. It unshackles you from toxic emotions. It helps you sleep better and longer. Gratitude even has positive lasting effects on your brain.
It is no wonder that the Holy Spirit encourages and commands us to be thankful. Thankfulness is the open door to miracles and greater manifestations of the power of God in your life. It doesn’t cost you anything to be thankful.
It doesn’t take much time, and the benefits are enormous. Take time today to think of all the positive things in your life and give thanks. Thank God for all His benefits towards you. And as you have the opportunity, thank those who have been a blessing to you in any way.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Thank You, Lord, for prospering me through the resource of gratitude. I attract miracles and more grace because I am a grateful person.
