Deeper Christian Life Ministry also known as Deeper Life Bible Church is a Pentecostal Christian denomination with its global headquarters in Gbagada, Lagos. Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, is the general superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church.
Pastor Kumuyi started a Bible study group with 15 students who had come to him for Bible instruction while he was a mathematics lecturer at the University of Lagos in 1973. His teachings served as the Deeper Christian Life Ministry’s foundation. Due to his sermons on the Holy Spirit baptism, Kumuyi was banished from the Apostolic Faith Church in 1975. He carried on with his independent ministry of Bible study, which in 1982 became the Deeper Life Bible Church. According to estimates from 2005, the Christian ministry has over 800,000 affiliates.

HISTORY OF DEEPER CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRIES.
Formerly W.F. Kumuyi was an Anglican, who later became a member of the Apostolic Faith Church after being baptized. He was kicked out of the church in 1975 for preaching about the Holy Spirit. He kept up his personal Ministry work, and in 1982 it evolved into the Deeper Life Bible Church. That little group had multiplied to several thousand in the early 1980s, Sub-Saharan Africa saw the church’s growth before it reached the UK, where it established branches that later spread to western Europe, Russia, India, and North America.
Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President of Nigeria, and other dignitaries attended the commissioning of The Deeper Christian Life Ministry’s new headquarters church in Gbagada in April 2018. The Lagos Church had 65,000 members in attendance in 2020. The Auditorium at the International Headquarters could sit up to 30, 000 worshippers.
Since April 2021, Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi has been leading a number of global gospel crusades in Abuja, Nigeria, Abuja, Calabar, and Enugu in the month of June, July, and August of 2021. Zoom connections and social media links allowed people to connect to the Crusade. Don Moen ministered with him in the just-completed August 2021 issue. Olusegun Obasanjo, the former president of Nigeria, and Nevers Mumba, the former vice president of Zambia, among others, were present for the brand launch of this crusade series, which was dubbed Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in July 2022.
Numerous church members shared their stories of how the gospel message altered their lives and how Christ had miraculously answered their prayers. According to Pastor Kumuyi, God has strategically and purposefully used miracles in the growth of Deeper Life Bible Church to draw all mankind to Himself (John 3:26). Holiness and practical Christianity are the foundations of the Ministry.
As of now, the ministry has 120,000 members, up from 50,000 in 1988, making it the third-largest Christian church in the world. Dr. Johan Combrinck claims that the Deeper Life Bible Church, in addition to having a weekly attendance of 120,000, has constructed 500 churches in Lagos, 5,000 across the rest of Nigeria (with an independent estimate of more than 800,000 members in Nigeria alone), and 3,000 abroad.

- Bible Study: The Ministry Holds its Bible study, where believers come together to search the scriptures by 6:00 pm
- Leadership Development: This is usually held on Tuesdays from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm compulsory for all leaders.

Deeper Christian Life Ministries Mission / Vision Statement
The great commission, which calls for taking the entire gospel to every country in an effort to bring sinful people to the salvation of their souls, served as the foundation for the creation of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The great commission is Christ’s command to spread the full gospel to every living thing. Deeper Christian Life Ministries is saddled with the following;
(1) To evangelize the world. Mk.16:15.
(2) To establish the converts in the faith. Acts.14:22.
(3) To establish a holy, and bible church in every community. Acts.2:41-47. Acts.11:20-25.
(4) To empower, teach and train every believer for effective evangelism and to live a life of perpetual victory over sin, and temptation. 2Tim.2:1-2.
(5) To equip every pastor, minister, and worker for productive ministerial life through regular systematic teaching and training in the word of God. Isaiah.28:9-13.
(6) To prepare the saints for heaven.

Deeper Life Church believes in the following;

The entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
In one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.
Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
Every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and being conformed to the image of Christ.
As children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors, and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.
