Today’s Scripture Reference: Matthew 6:27, 28, AMPC
And who of you by worrying and being anxious can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life? And why should you be anxious about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field and learn thoroughly how they grow; they neither toil nor spin.
Jesus told us to observe lilies in a field. They don’t worry, stress, or toil, yet they grow and beautifully clothe the earth. God values us much more than mere flowers. We can learn a valuable lesson by observing these flowers. God cares for them, even though they do not last very long.
