Today’s Scripture Reference: Proverbs 23:4, 5, AMPC
“Weary not yourself to be rich; cease from your own [human] wisdom. Will you set your eyes upon wealth, when [suddenly] it is gone? For riches certainly make themselves wings, like an eagle that flies toward the heavens”
God certainly wants prosperity and abundance for us, but seeking Him first over money keeps our priorities straight. Money is temporary, but God is forever. Trusting in Him instead of in our own wisdom opens the door to the financial blessings we want.
